Huntsville City FC is an American professional soccer team that is located in Huntsville, Alabama. The team was founded in 2021 and currently plays its home games at John Hunt Park. Since its inception, Huntsville City FC has quickly become one of the most successful teams in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship. The team has already developed several rivalries with other teams in their conference, including Birmingham Legion FC, Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, and Memphis 901 FC. The team has won numerous awards throughout its short history, including the 2021 USL Championship title and a spot in the 2021 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tournament.
