The athletic team of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida is the Seminoles. Since the 1991–92 season, they have competed as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level (FBS sub-level for football), except for football, where they played in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and Atlantic Division.
