The Wisconsin Badgers Hockey program is one of the most storied in college hockey. Founded in 1922, the Badgers have become a powerhouse in the sport, with two NCAA national championships and 16 Big Ten Conference titles to their credit. They are also perennial contenders for the McCafferty Trophy, awarded annually to the team that finishes atop the conference standings.
