Nitro Circus is an action sports collective led by Travis Pastrana, which features his friends and him traveling the world riding dirtbikes, BASE jumping, and performing daredevil stunts. In 2016, Nitro World Games was launched as an action sports competition focused on advancing key action sports skills such as FMX, BMX, skateboarding, and scooter driving. Now, over a decade later, the company has produced multiple television series, live events, and films, while continuing to innovate and push boundaries in the action sports world. Pastrana and his team continue to travel the globe, seeking out new challenges and thrilling stunts to entertain their ever-growing fanbase. The first season of Nitro Circus aired on February 8, 2009, and the second season premiered just six months later on August 27. The show followed Pastrana and his friends as they traveled the world, performing stunts and engaging in various antics. The third season of Nitro Circus aired in 2010 and featured even more death-defying stunts and international travel. In 2011, Nitro Circus released its first feature-length film, Nitro Circus: The Movie.
The film chronicles the early days of the company and features some of its most iconic stunts. In 2012, Nitro Circus launched its first live tour. Their own self-titled "Nitro Circus" show airing on MTV was nominated for an Emmy in 2012 along with numerous feature films all produced by the company's co-founder Gregg Godfrey in collaboration with big names like Paramount Pictures and Netflix. At the heart of it, all are some of the greatest legends known to motorsports including Travis Pastrana, Jolene Van Vugt & Erik Roner who have all broken multiple X Games Gold medals as well as Mammoth Mountain Pro Snowmobile athlete Levi LaVallee who achieved an inaugural Guinness World Record jump while performing at Nitro World Games 2016 - 2017.
