WORLD FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS is a combat sports company that promotes Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing and Kickboxing events. It is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company was founded by Alison Foley in 2006.

In May 2012, the company announced that it had signed a television deal with the Fox Sports Networks. The first event under the new deal took place on July 27, 2012 and featured a welterweight title fight between Ben Askren and Jay Hieron.

In January 2013, the company announced that it had partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). As part of the deal, WFC events would be broadcast on UFC Fight Pass. The first event under the new deal took place on February 7, 2013 and featured a heavyweight title fight between Blagoy Ivanov and Derrick Lewis.

In June 2014, the company was purchased by Zuffa, LLC, the parent company of the UFC.

On July 10, 2015, it was announced that WFC had been renamed to Legacy Fighting Championship.
