Nashville SC won their first MLS game on March 2, 2020, against Atlanta United FC. Nashville SC plays its home games at Nissan Stadium, which is also home to the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). The team's primary colors are navy blue and gold. Nashville SC was founded on December 20, 2017, when the club was announced as Major League Soccer's twenty-fourth expansion team. The announcement came after a two-year search by MLS for a new expansion market. The club is owned by John Ingram, CEO of Nashville-based Ingram Industries, and his son, Dewayne Ingram.
