About Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are located in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, and play their home games at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The Timber Rattlers have won seven Midwest League championships: in 1992 as the Appleton Foxes, in 1996, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2014. The squad debuted as a Three-I League member in 1958 with the name Fox Cities Foxes. After the 1961 season, the circuit ceased operations, and the team joined the Midwest League in 1962. In 1967, Wisconsin Rattlers Baseball was known as the Appleton Foxes, and in 1995, they changed their name to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Wisconsin was moved to the High-A Central, which was renamed the Midwest League in 2022, in connection with Major League Baseball's restructuring of Minor League Baseball in 2021.

Six baseball organizations in Major League Baseball have used Wisconsin Rattlers as a farm team. They have won ten league championships, most recently in 2012, with one Three-I League title and nine Midwest League crowns. The roster includes some of the best hitters and pitchers in the league. You can find outfielder Tristen Lutz, who was ranked first overall in MiLB's Top 100 Prospects list. He made his debut last season and is already proving to be one of the most dynamic players in the Midwest League. Another top player is Thomas Dillard, an elite hitter who has been tearing it up for the Rattlers with a .323 batting average and five home runs. It's no wonder he was named Midwest League Player of the Week! Outfielder Corey Ray is another must-watch player for Rattler fans. His presence on the field has been noted by many scouts; don't be surprised if you hear his name called again at next year's MLB draft!

The Milwaukee Brewers have elevated Brock Wilken, their 2023 1st-round draft selection, to the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, marking a significant milestone in his career progression. Wilken, a gifted third baseman, had a remarkable collegiate journey at Wake Forest University, where he established records for hitting home runs. He embarked on his professional journey in the Brewers' Arizona Complex League, showcasing exceptional performance right from the start. Fans are pleasantly surprised by the promotion to High-A, as the organization seldom witnesses prospects advancing so rapidly. It's a rare occurrence that brings excitement and optimism to the fanbase. Experience the electrifying performance of Wilken at the High-A level! Don't let this opportunity pass you by!
