The Rocky Mountain Vibes are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, an MLB Partner League. Founded in 2019, the Vibes have become one of the top teams in the league and have quickly established themselves as a fan favorite. The team plays its home games at Security Service Field located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Over the years, they’ve developed rivalries with other teams in their conference such as the Grand Junction Rockies, Ogden Raptors, and Idaho Falls Chukars. The Vibes have won several awards throughout their short history including two Pioneer League championships and four playoff appearances. The team is led by head coach Warren Schaeffer who took over in 2021 after former manager Brian Meyer left for a major league coaching position. Schaeffer has already made his mark on the program by leading them to a winning record in his first season as head coach and earning Manager of the Year honors from both Pioneer League and Minor League Baseball (MiLB). The Vibes are led by some of minor league baseball's top players such as infielder/outfielder Taylor Snyder who was named First Team All-Pioneer League last season after hitting .294 with five home runs; outfielder Tyler Nevin who hit .328 with nine home runs; pitcher Riley O'Brien who had a 3.12 ERA with 79 strikeouts; catcher Roberto Ramos who had 11 home runs; and pitcher Ryan Feltner who had 75 strikeouts last season.
