The York Revolution is an American professional minor-league baseball team based in York, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2007, the Revs are a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and have been playing their home games at PeoplesBank Park since its opening in 2007. The Revs have established rivalries with other teams in the Atlantic League such as Lancaster Barnstormers, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, and Somerset Patriots. In addition to their rivalry games, the Revs also compete for various awards throughout the season such as the Freedom Division Championship and All-Star Game MVP Award. The Revs are led by head coach Mark Mason who has been with the team since 2014. He has helped guide them to three Atlantic League Championships (2010, 2011, 2017) and four playoff appearances (2008-2011). Under his leadership, the Revs have become one of the most successful teams in the league.
The team is comprised of some of professional baseball's top players including catcher Isaias Tejeda who was named to both All-Star Games last season; outfielder Andres Perez who hit .294 last season with 16 home runs; pitcher Logan Williamson who had a 3.86 ERA last year; and infielder Melky Mesa who had a .286 batting average with 11 home runs last season.
