The Red River Showdown between the University of Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners is one of college football's most storied rivalries. The Longhorns are led by some of college football's top players such as quarterback Sam Ehlinger who was named First Team All-Big 12 last season after throwing for 3,663 yards and 32 touchdowns; running back Keaontay Ingram who had 1,214 rushing yards last season; wide receiver Brennan Eagles who had 872 receiving yards last season; linebacker Joseph Ossai who led all defenders with 83 tackles; and cornerback Caden Sterns who had three interceptions last season.
