The Wisconsin GLO is a professional women's basketball team based in Oshkosh, WI. Founded in 2018, the GLO are entering their third season and have quickly become one of the most exciting teams to watch in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team plays its home games at the Menominee Nation Arena, located on the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus. Over the years, the GLO has developed several rivalries with other teams in their conference, including Chicago Sky, Indiana Fever, and Connecticut Sun. The GLO has won numerous awards throughout its history, including two WNBA All-Star selections and four appearances in the playoffs. The GLO is led by some of women's basketball's top players such as forward Breanna Stewart who was named MVP last season after averaging 20 points per game; guard Ariel Atkins who had 15 points per game; center Tina Charles who had 11 rebounds per game; forward Natasha Howard who had 8 assists per game; and guard Jordin Canada who had 3 steals per game. As they look ahead to the 2023 season, Wisconsin Glo will be looking to continue their success from recent years while also building on their strong fan base within Wisconsin. With a talented roster full of experienced veterans and promising newcomers alike, there is no doubt that this team will be competitive once again this year as they strive to bring another championship back to Oshkosh.
