The Kalamazoo Galaxy is a professional men’s basketball team in the TBL (Tournament Basketball League). Founded in 2021, the Galaxy has been playing competitive basketball for over a year and has become one of the most successful teams in the league. The team plays its home games at Wings Event Center, located on the campus of Western Michigan University. Over the years, the Galaxy have developed several rivalries with other teams in their conference, including Grand Rapids Drive, Canton Charge, and Windy City Bulls. The Galaxy are led by some of pro basketball’s top players such as point guard Darius Garland who was named First Team All-TBL last season after averaging 19 points per game; forward Isaac Bonga who had 8 rebounds per game last season; center Goga Bitadze who was named Rookie of the Year last year after averaging 11 points per game; shooting guard Terrence Ross who had 20 points per game last season; and small forward Josh Jackson who had 18 points per game last season. As they look ahead to the 2023 season, Kalamazoo Galaxy will be looking to continue their success from recent years while also building on their rich history of excellence.
