The BIG3 Basketball League is an exciting 3-on-3 professional basketball league founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz in 2017. Operating out of Los Angeles, it is the global leader in basketball competitions. In its first season, the league featured eight franchises playing regularly scheduled home games across the United States. The main venue for all home games is Barclays Center in Brooklyn through recent seasons saw teams hosting games at Staples Center in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York City. The playoffs for each season take place at a predetermined location chosen by the League office before each year's start date. The team with the most championships so far has been Trilogy led by captain Kenyon Martin who has won two championships since joining forces with Rashard Lewis and Al Harrington back in 2017 when Trilogy won its first title against Ghost Ballers featuring Baron Davis and Mike Bibby when they lost their Game 5 matchup 103–98 while most recently winning their second championship in 2020 against Power which was captained by Corey Maggette defeating them 76–67 in Game 5 of that series.
