The dynamic women's basketball squad of Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY proudly stands amongst the NCAA Division I contending ASUN Conference teams. Representing their university with tenacity and spirit, the Bellarmine Knights are a force to be reckoned with! After almost four decades in the Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference, the Knights made their grand leap to Division I for the 2020–21 season. The Louisville Knights proudly represent their home city by playing out of Freedom Hall and have competed in fifteen NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Tournaments. In total, their record was 11 wins and 16 losses. The Lady Knights are led by head coach and alumna Michelle Clark-Heard, who has been with the team since 2013. She's earned a wealth of success both professionally and personally in her 7-year tenure as head coach of the Knights. With over 130 wins under her belt, Coach Heard is determined to make history by leading Bellarmine University to its first NCAA Division I Tournament appearance.
