The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are a professional hockey team based in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1999, the Penguins have been a member of the American Hockey League (AHL) since their inception. After taking the helm he has led his charges to five consecutive winning seasons including back-to-back first-overall finishes in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Over its history, many successful players have gone through the Wilkes Barre/Scranton system well on their way to becoming impact players at the NHL level such as Sidney Crosby Vegas Golden Knights’ Mark Stone Winnipeg Jets’ Connor Hellebuyck among countless others.
