About AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite, also known as Wednesday Night Dynamite or simply Dynamite, is an American pro-wrestling television program produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The show airs live weekly on TNT and are available on demand the following day via the network's streaming service, as well as through online pay-per-view providers. Dynamite debuted on October 2, 2019, and features both men's and women's matches, and is the second largest wrestling promotion in the U.S. The program has been hailed by critics as a return to the "golden age" of professional wrestling, as it features a mix of both young up-and-coming talent and established veterans. Many sources assumed the program would air on Wednesday nights under the name Wednesday Night Dynamite after AEW registered an additional trademark for it in June 2019. However, TNT announced on October 1, 2019, that the show would air on Tuesday nights instead. Matt and Nick Jackson, known professionally as the Young Bucks, are brothers who have made waves in the professional wrestling world. Not only do they comprise an incredible tag team, but they also serve as executive vice presidents of All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Dynamite debuted to 1.409 million viewers, making it the most-watched premiere of a wrestling program in the United States since WWE Raw in 1993. The show has consistently remained one of the most-watched programs on cable television, averaging around 1.5 million viewers per week. In January 2020, it was announced that the show would be moving to a new night and time, airing on Wednesday nights at 8 pm ET. The move was made to make room for AEW's second weekly show, which was announced as being in development. On March 18, 2020, it was announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, AEW would be suspending live events indefinitely. As a result, Dynamite began airing pre-taped episodes from an empty arena until May 27, 2020. On June 3, 2020, AEW resumed airing live episodes of Dynamite from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. On October 7, 2020, it was announced that the show would be moving back to Tuesday nights, this time airing at 10 pm ET. The move was made to make room for AEW's third weekly show, which was announced as being in development. Venues: NY UBS Arena, E.J.
