Sonja Morgan is an American television personality, socialite and philanthropist. She is best known for her appearances on the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of New York City.
Morgan was born in Albany, New York and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York. She is of Norwegian descent. Morgan graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in communications.
Morgan joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City in season three, which premiered on March 4, 2010. She has appeared as a main cast member in every season since. In August 2016, Morgan announced that she would be launching her own line of prosecco, called Sonja Morgan Prosecco. The wine is produced by Franciacorta-based Bellavista.
