Circus Flora is an award-winning, one-ring circus based in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Founded in 1976 by the late Paul Binder and Michael Christensen as a “little big top” show, Circus Flora has been delighting audiences for over 45 years with its unique blend of traditional European circus arts and American vaudeville. It is now the longest-running one-ring circus in the United States and continues to be a major attraction throughout the Midwest. The company has been honored with numerous awards over the years including two Tony Awards for Best Special Theatrical Event (for its Broadway production of “Big Apple Circus”) and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival/Revue (for its Off-Broadway production of “Big Apple Circus”).
