The lineup for the one-day cultural festival and multi-artist presentation in July was previously revealed by the illuminating MetaMoon Music Festival, which celebrates Asian creativity and culture. The festival of the arts and heritage has now added three more performers to its impressive lineup, heightening anticipation.
Graceful Media's MetaMoon Music Festival, produced in partnership with Live Nation, will bring AAPI and Asian performers to New York's Barclays Center to highlight the incredible potential within these communities that is frequently underappreciated by the music business. Lay Zhang from EXO is the headlining act this year, while other performers on the program include 9m88, Karencici, ZI, Sury Su, and presenter MC Jin. Many of these acts are making their American debuts. Tia Ray, a Chinese soul singer, Amber Liu of f(x), and Tyson Yoshi, a pop-punk musician from Hong Kong, have also been added to the festival's lineup by MetaMoon in order to showcase an even greater variety of foreign talent.
As stated by Grace Chen, creator of Hong Kong-based Graceful Media, "MetaMoon Music Festival's objective is to bridge the gap between Asia and the US and illustrate the truth that pop culture and music are universal languages that may create a greater understanding." The MetaMoon Food Crawl, which will begin on November 1, will also be added to the musical celebration so that festival-goers can thoroughly immerse themselves in the intricacies of Asian culture. Local eateries like Nom Wah Nolita, 886, Ho Foods, Yumplings, and others will be included in this menagerie, bringing a variety of Asian and AAPI cultural aspects to the fore and enabling participants to support nearby AAPI-owned companies.
At Barclays Center, MetaMoon Market will debut during the music festival in association with Gold House. This shoppable engagement will feature a number of businesses, extending the experience beyond the stage, including Lunar, Popadelics, Kitsby, Recoup, Frontman, and Moshi, among others to be announced.
