  • Yes, the legendary progressive rock band, has been making music for over fifty years. Formed in 1968 by lead singer and frontman Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford, Yes has earned a place in history as one of the most influential bands of all time. Having released their debut album in 1969 and their first single "Sweetness" in 1970, Yes went on to become one of the most successful prog-rock acts of their era. Their second album "Time and a Word" was released in 1970 and featured the hit single "I've Seen All Good People". This song was later covered by the likes of Pearl Jam and U2. The band's third album "The Yes Album" was released in 1971 to critical acclaim. It included hit singles such as "Yours Is No Disgrace", "Starship Trooper" and "Roundabout". This record is considered to be the band's breakthrough album as it charted at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart. Following this success, Yes embarked on a series of world tours which saw them perform to sold-out audiences around Europe and North America. Throughout their career, Yes has released 18 studio albums including iconic records such as Fragile (1971), Close To The Edge (1972), Tales From Topographic Oceans (1973) Going For The One (1977) Drama (1980) Big Generator (1987) Talk (1994). Their discography also includes live albums such as Yessongs(1973), Yesshows(1980) , 9012Live(1985), Union Live(1991). In addition to these releases, they have also won numerous awards including two Grammy Awards for Best Rock Instrumental Performance ("Cinema" from 90125). Yes announced that they will be embarking on an extensive world tour in 2023 with shows across Europe and North America before heading down under for dates in Australia and New Zealand. The tour will include many classic songs from throughout their career as well as some new material from their upcoming studio album 'Heaven & Earth'. Fans can expect an unforgettable evening full of classic hits such as 'Roundabout', 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart', 'Long Distance Runaround', 'Starship Trooper', 'Heart Of The Sunrise' among others!
