The Rush Tribute Project is an homage to one of the most enduring and influential bands in rock music. It is the work of seven artists who have been friends and colleagues for many years. The project was conceived as a way to celebrate Rush’s musical legacy and to honor their friend and colleague, Alex Lifeson.
The album features renditions of some of Rush’s most iconic songs, including “Tom Sawyer,” “The Spirit of Radio,” “Closer to the Heart,” and “2112.” The album also includes two new tracks written and performed by the band in tribute to Rush: “Overture” and “Red Sector A.”
