Pop Evil is an American rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan that has been making waves in the music industry since its formation in 2001. The band consists of vocalist Leigh Kakaty, guitarist Nick Fuelling, bassist Matt DiRito and drummer Hayley Cramer. Pop Evil's career began with the release of their self-titled debut album in 2007, which produced hit singles such as “100 in a 55” and “Somebody Like You” - both of which charted on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Since then, they have released four more albums: Lipstick on the Mirror (2008), War of Angels (2011), Onyx (2013), and Up (2015). Over the years, Pop Evil has had numerous hits across all major radio formats including Active Rock, Mainstream Rock, and Hot AC. Some of their most successful songs include "Trenches," "Footsteps," "Deal With The Devil" and "Waking Lions." In addition to having songs featured in various video games and television shows, Pop Evil has also been included on various soundtracks for blockbuster films such as Iron Man 2 and GI Joe: Retaliation.
The band has received numerous awards throughout their career including Best New Artist at the 2006 Radio Contraband Awards and Male Vocalist of the Year twice at Rock on Request Awards in 2010 & 2013. In 2012 they were honored with a nomination for Best Mainstream Rock Band at Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Pop Evil has toured extensively throughout its career around North America and Europe including performances at major festivals such as Download Festival in 2017 alongside Aerosmith & Guns N' Roses plus tours with bands like Stone Sour & Shinedown. They continue to tour regularly while also working on new music as they recently collaborated with Australian punk legends The Living End for a song titled “End Of The World” in 2018.
