He followed up this success with the release of his second album, La Part du Feu, which earned him a Félix Award for Album of The Year. Philippe has since become a major force in the Canadian music scene. He has toured extensively throughout Canada and Europe, performing in some of the most renowned venues such as Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier and Massey Hall in Toronto. He has also been featured in major international festivals such as the Festival de Jazz de Montréal and Francofolies de Montréal. Philippe's music combines folk, rock, blues, and jazz elements to create an eclectic sound that speaks to both English and French audiences alike.
His lyrics are introspective yet uplifting, telling stories of love, loss, hope, and resilience. In 2019, Philippe released his third studio album entitled A l'Aube du Jour.
