Orleans Band is an American country music group founded in 1970. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Chris Duhon, guitarist Marvin Evans, bassist Jimmy Parker, and drummer Paul Sikes. The band released its self-titled debut album in 1971, followed by 1972's Goodbye Little Darlin' and 1973's Let Me Go. Orleans had several hit singles during the 1970s, including "Still the One", "Dance with Me", and "Love Takes Time".
The band continued to record and tour into the 1980s, releasing the albums Waking and Dreaming in 1976, Orleans Live in 1977, and One of These Nights in 1979. The band's popularity waned in the early 1980s, and the group disbanded in 1984. Orleans reunited in 1991 and released the album Heart of the Matter in 1993. Since then, the band has continued to tour and release new music, including the albums Arms of Love in 2000 and Dancin' in the Moonlight in 2004.
