Mom Jeans is a Berkeley, California-based alternative rock/indie rock band that was founded in 2014. The band's lineup consists of singer-songwriter and guitarist Alex Abramiuk, bassist RJ McKee, and drummer Paul Cubbage. Mom Jeans has released three EPs: Inauguration (2015), Best Buds (2016), and Puppy Love (2017).
The band's music has been described as "a mix of emo, pop punk, and ska."Mom Jeans has toured with such bands as The Story So Far, Mayday Parade, and Less Than Jake. In 2016, the band performed at the Vans Warped Tour.
A fourth EP, entitled "Chubbies", was released on April 27th, 2018. It was preceded by the release of two singles, "Chubbies" and "Butterfly."
Mom Jeans' latest EP, "Dog Songs," was released on August 10th, 2018. The EP includes the singles "Big Girls" and "Puppy Love."
Mom Jeans is currently signed to Counter Intuitive Records.
"Sweet Tooth" was chosen as the title of the new record following a month-long contest. The band began recording demo tapes in early 2019, and the name of the album was also chosen - Sweet Tooth. The album was released on May 17th, 2019.
It is the band's first full-length album, and it includes the singles "Hiding" and "Dear Dog."
The album was produced by Jack Shirley, who has also worked with such bands as Deafheaven and Joyce Manor.
