Mike Gordon is an American bass guitarist and vocalist best known as a founding member of the band Phish. He was born on June 3, 1965, in Sudbury, Massachusetts, and has been playing music since his early childhood. Throughout his career, he has released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists such as Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Page McConnell, and more. His most recent album is "Flying Games" which was released in 2023. Throughout his career, Mike Gordon has won numerous awards including the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in 2003 for the song "Round Room" from Phish's album of the same name. He also received two New England Music Awards for Album of the Year in 2004 and Live Act of the Year in 2006.
