Jeffrey Allen Tickets

Jeffrey Allen is an English rock and blues session drummer, most notably for his contributions with East of Eden, Snowy White, Bonnie Tyler, Mick Taylor and Van Morrison. He should not be mistaken with Chris Cross of Ultravox, whose brother is the identically named former drummer of the British glam rock band Hello, despite the fact that this happens frequently in numerous listings. Allen joined the Glasgow-based band The Beatstalkers, who held regular gigs in the 'Storeyville' clubs in Frankfurt, Cologne, and London's Marquee Club. Allen joined East of Eden in 1971, and throughout the 1970s, his percussion contributions could be heard on five of their albums. Early in the 1980s, Allen played on recordings by Bonnie Tyler (Goodbye to the Island), Murray Head (Voices), and John Martyn as a freelance session musician (Well Kept Secret). Allen joined Snowy White's Blues Agency in 1986 and played drums on their Change My Life album from 1988. Allen collaborated with Mick Taylor and Snowy White in 1995 to create the live album Arthur's Club-Geneva 1995. Allen provided drumming for Baghdad by Ilham al-Madfai in 2003. In 2012, he performed as an opening act for Max Middleton and Mick Taylor at London's Cadogan Hall. He was recently appointed executive producer of music performances for Sensible Music, London, thanks to his work organizing parties for the Brunei Royal Family in London.
