Hothouse Flowers are an Irish rock band formed in 1985. The group consists of Liam Ó Maonlaí, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, Peter O'Toole, and the late Feargal Lawler. The group has become one of the most successful Irish bands in history, with their debut album People (1988) reaching No. 1 on the Irish Albums Chart and No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. Hothouse Flowers have achieved numerous awards including two Brit Awards for Best International Group. They were also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album for their album Born (1995). Throughout their career, Hothouse Flowers have released seven studio albums and eleven singles, with many of them becoming staples of the Irish music scene.
