American folk rock band Dawes, out of Los Angeles, California, is formed by the Goldsmith brothers Taylor (vocals and guitars) and Griffin Goldsmith (drums), along with Lee Pardini on keyboards and Wylie Gelber on bass. On April 14th, 2010 the band Dawes made their debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and since then have been unstoppable. Nothing Is Wrong was released on June 7th, 2011 to critical acclaim and they began touring across the US co-headlining alongside Blitzen Trapper. Unfortunately, original keyboardist Tay Strathairn had to miss Nothing Is Wrong as he was otherwise occupied. Alex Casnoff filled in his spot until the end of 2010 when Strathairn rejoined the band. On December 1, 2011, Dawes shared the stage with Jackson Browne at Occupy Wall Street's Zuccotti Park event. Later that year, they were featured as themselves in an episode of NBC’s Parenthood on February 7th! The renowned band released the single "From a Window Seat" in February 2013 off their album Stories Don't End, which was featured on Red General Catalog and the band's own Hub Records. The captivating track "Just Beneath the Surface" off Stories Don't End earned its place in an episode of American Dad!, set to the theme of 'Independent Movie'. On July 22nd, Dawes unveiled their brand-new studio album titled "Good Luck With Whatever," which was released on October 2nd through Rounder Records.
