David Cross is an American stand-up comedian, actor, director, and writer known for his unique brand of comedy. Cross began his career in the late 1980s performing in comedy clubs around the United States. He quickly gained recognition for his witty and offbeat humor which has become a staple of his performances. Cross has released several albums throughout his career including Shut Up You Fucking Baby!, It's Not Funny, and Bigger and Blackerer. His albums have been highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike, with many of them reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Comedy Albums chart. Additionally, he has won numerous awards for his work including two Emmy Awards for writing on The Ben Stiller Show and an American Comedy Award for Best Alternative Stand-Up Comedian.
