Formed in Grayslake, Illinois in 1995, Chevelle is one of the most successful rock bands of all time. Comprised of two brothers, Pete Loeffler and Sam Loeffler, and their brother Joe, they have released seven studio albums since their debut album Point #1 in 1999. With this album, the Chevelle band achieved success with the singles "Chevelle The Red" and "Send The Pain Below". Both were certified gold by the RIAA. Chevelle's second album Wonder What's Next was released in 2002 and was a huge commercial success. It reached the top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and went double platinum in the US. The single "The Clincher" was also certified gold by the RIAA. In 2004, Chevelle released their third album This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart and went platinum in the US. The lead single from this album "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)" was also certified gold by the RIAA.
From 2005 to 2010, Chevelle released three more studio albums Vena Sera (2007), Sci-Fi Crimes (2009), and Hats Off to the Bull (2011). All three albums were well received commercially with each reaching either Gold or Platinum status in sales in both Canada and USA. The band has also achieved numerous awards including 3 Grammy Award nominations for Best Recordings Package for their 2011 release Hats Off to the Bull as well as 2 Kerrang! Awards for Best International Band in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Chevelle is currently gearing up for their 2023 world tour that will span across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand beginning in San Francisco CA at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium before wrapping up on at O2 Academy Brixton in London UK.
