Bayside is an American punk rock band from the Bayside, Queens neighborhood of New York City, formed in 2000 by lead vocalist Anthony Raneri. With a career spanning over two decades, Bayside has become one of the most iconic and beloved bands in the punk rock scene. They have released seven studio albums, two live albums, and four EPs and have toured extensively throughout North America and Europe. The band's first album Sirens and Condolences was released in 2004 to critical acclaim and commercial success. The album featured hit singles such as "Devotion & Desire," "Montauk," and "They're Not Horses." It was certified gold in Canada for selling over 50,000 copies. In 2006, Bayside released their second album The Walking Wounded which featured the singles "Duality" and "Landing Feet First." This album was also well-received by both fans and critics alike. It peaked at number 20 on the US Billboard 200 chart making it their highest charting album to date. In 2008, Bayside released Shudder which included fan favorites like "Winter," "I And I," and "Masterpiece."
This album went on to become one of their most successful releases with over 500,000 copies sold worldwide. In 2011 they released Killing Time which featured tracks such as "Already Gone" and "Sick Sick Sick." This album debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200 chart making it their third consecutive top-twenty entry on that chart. Since then Bayside has gone on to release five more albums including Vacancy (2016), Interrobang (2019), Cult (2014) Acoustic Volume 2 (2018), and Interrobang Live (2020). Throughout their career, they have received numerous awards including Best Punk Band at the Kerrang! Awards in 2007 as well as Album of The Year for The Walking Wounded at the Alternative Press Music Awards in 2007. They were also nominated for Best Punk Album at the Juno Awards in Canada in 2009 for Shudder. Bayside announced their 2023 tour dates across North America with special guests Taking Back Sunday, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Motion City Soundtrack, All Time Low, Yellowcard & more!
