Marshall Charloff is a celebrated producer, recording artist, and singer-songwriter who has been creating music since an early age. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Marshall began his career as a musician by playing in local bands before eventually producing, writing, and recording for the Multi-Platinum and Grammy award-winning Commodores. He also produced, wrote, and recorded for Hall of Fame Inductee Little Anthony (Little Anthony and the Imperials). In 2011, he formed the incredible Prince Tribute band Purple xPeRIeNCE which has toured around the country since then. Marshall has released several albums throughout his career including "The Purple Album" (2012), "Live at First Avenue" (2013), "The After Party" (2014), "In The Key of Funk" (2015), and "Smooth Jazz Renditions of Prince Classics" (2020). His songs have been featured in films such as “The Best Man Holiday” and “Think Like A Man Too”.
He has also performed on television shows such as “Late Night with Seth Meyers” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Marshall's music has earned him numerous awards including two Emmy Awards for his work on the PBS show “Songs From The Road”. In 2023, Marshall will be touring across the United States with his band The Purple Xperience to promote his latest album "Smooth Jazz Renditions of Prince Classics". The tour will kick off in June in Minneapolis before heading to cities such as Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, and more.
