The Funky Dawgz Brass Band is an eight-piece brass band from New Orleans, Louisiana. The band combines traditional New Orleans jazz with funk, hip-hop, and soul to create a unique sound that has earned them the title of “the world’s premier party band". The Funky Dawgz Brass Band was formed in 2011 when two members of the legendary Rebirth Brass Band decided to join forces and create something new. Since then, they have released two albums - their self-titled debut album in 2012 and their follow-up album "Funky Dawgz" in 2015. These albums featured popular songs such as "Do What You Wanna", "Shake It Up", and "Feel Good Music". The Funky Dawgz have become renowned for their live performances, which feature intricate choreography, high-energy dance moves, and crowd participation.
