New Edition is an iconic R&B band that has been entertaining fans for over 35 years. Formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978, the original five members – Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe – established a lasting legacy with their innovative sound and style. Throughout their career, New Edition has released eight studio albums, four compilation albums, and more than 25 singles. Notable hits include “Cool It Now”, “Mr. Telephone Man” and “Candy Girl”. In 1996, the group embarked on its second world tour; the Home Again Tour. This was supported by their seventh album of the same name which included hit songs such as “Hit Me Off” and “I'm Still In Love With You”. After a decade-long hiatus from touring due to disagreements about finances and management issues, New Edition reunited for their 30th-anniversary reunion tour in 2008. The tour culminated with a 2-part BET miniseries titled The New Edition Story. Since then, New Edition has continued to perform at venues around the world even after Bobby Brown left to pursue his own solo projects in 1985. The remaining four members still remain active today and continue to evolve musically while wowing their dedicated fan base with classic hits from decades past.
