About Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor is an acclaimed singer, songwriter, and pianist from Russia. Born in 1980, Spektor began playing Regina Spektor music at a young age, taking up the piano at 9. She studied classical piano through high school and eventually moved to New York City in 2002 to pursue her career. Since then, Regina Spektor has released seven studio albums - beginning with her debut “Soviet Kitsch” (2003) and continuing with “Begin to Hope” (2006), “Far” (2009), “What We Saw From The Cheap Seats” (2012), “Remember Us To Life” (2016), and more recently “Far & Away: Best of 2000–2020” in 2020. Her discography also includes several Regina Spektor live albums and EPs. Spektor has achieved much success over the years, earning Grammy nominations in 2009 and 2013 for Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album. Her single "Fidelity" won an ASCAP Pop Music Award for Most Performed Song in 2006. She has also earned two Echo Music Awards for Best International Rock/Pop Female Artist in 2007 & 2008. Spektor is an inspiring performer who tours regularly around the world, having completed various legs of global tours including Europe, Asia, and Australia as well as several U.S./North American tours since becoming active in 2003. In a rare occurrence, during August 2023 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, The Strokes graciously invited Regina Spektor to join them on-stage for a special performance of their collaborative 2004 masterpiece, "Modern Girls and Old Fashion Men." The reunion was remarkable, not just because it brought together two beloved hometown acts, but also because it featured a live performance of the duet that originally debuted as a b-side on the 2004 "Reptilia" single. The Strokes and Spektor last showcased their musical prowess together in a live performance at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York back in 2003. "After 20 long years, guess who finally graced us with their presence," Julian Casablancas, the frontman of The Strokes, playfully teased as Spektor confidently approached the microphone. "They adore you, my friend." Don’t miss out on this Regina Spektor US tour and track your favorite artists! Buy Regina Spektor tickets now!
