Mike Tramp is a well-known musician who has been in the music industry for over 30 years. He is best known as the frontman of the Danish rock band, White Lion. Tramp was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He grew up in a musical family and his father was a professional jazz drummer. Tramp began playing guitar at the age of eight and started his first band, The Tremors, when he was thirteen. Tramp is also a successful songwriter and he has co-written songs with some of the biggest names in the music industry. In 1979, Tramp joined White Lion and the band relocated to New York City. White Lion became one of the most popular hard rock bands of the 1980s. They released their debut album, Fight to Survive and was a success and it spawned the hit single, “Wait”. White Lion’s follow-up albums, Pride and Big Game were also successful. In 1992, White Lion disbanded and Tramp pursued a solo career.
