Li Lykke Timotej Zachrisson, more commonly known as Lykke Li, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and model. Her music often blends elements of pop, indie pop, and electronic. Lykke Li was born in Ystad, Sweden on March 18, 1986. She grew up in a musical family - her father is a musician and her mother is a dancer. She began playing piano and guitar at a young age, and started writing songs when she was eight years old. She released her first album, Youth Novels, in 2008. Li will collaborate with creative director Theo Lindquist, artist Nick Verstandpresent, and The Broad Museum in Los Angeles to aert an immersive piece titled Ü & EYEYE, it was revealed in July 2022. According to a statement made about the artwork, the project aims to "turn the Broad's Oculus Hall into a hyper-sensory cathedral of feminine romantic desire."
