Luce Dufault was born in Sainte-Foy, Quebec, Canada. When she was just four years old, she began taking piano lessons. It wasn't until she was 10 that she began singing in public. She started out singing in her school choir and then went on to perform at local festivals. In 1995, she released her first album, Luce Dufault.

During the concert, she sang a mix of older songs and newer ones from her most recent album. She was accompanied by a small orchestra, which added a lovely touch to her performance.
