Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, songwriter, and dancer. She performs a mixture of classical, pop, electronic music, and hip-hop. Stirling is also an occasional vlogger on her YouTube channel, which she uses to share her behind-the-scenes life with her fans. Born in Santa Ana, California, Stirling grew up in the suburbs of Gilbert, Arizona. The album's first single, "Beyond the Veil", peaked at No. 1 on the dance charts. In 2015, Stirling released her third album, Lindsey Stirling Brave Enough, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "The Arena", peaked at No. 1 on the dance charts and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Stirling has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, winning one for Best Dance Recording for her song "Roundtable Rival" in 2016. In 2017, she won an Emmy Award for Lindsey Stirling show on Dancing with the Stars. Stirling has also collaborated with a number of other artists, including John Legend, Pentatonix, and Linkin Park.
