Yesid Eduardo Uribe Ordóñez better known as Jessi Uribe is a Colombian singer and musician. Jessi Uribe was born on October 21, 1992, in the municipality of Briceño, Antioquia. He began his musical studies at the age of 8 years in the Briceño Municipal School of Music where he learned to play the violin. At age 12 he entered the Antioquia Youth Orchestra with which he participated in various tours inside and outside the country. In 2006, he moved to Medellín where he continued his musical studies at the Manuel Marulanda School of Music and the Pontifical Bolivarian University, graduating as a violinist from both institutions. At age 17 he began his solo career with his first album "No te detengas" under the label "Mun2 Music". The album was produced by Camilo Echeverry and masterfully mixed by Andrés Torres. In 2010 he released his second album "Aún no te olvido" which contained the singles "No vale la pena llorar" and "Aún no te olvido".
