Jerry Harrison, the renowned American musician, songwriter, and producer is best known as a founding member of the new wave band Talking Heads. Since the early 1970s, Jerry has been involved in various projects as a solo artist, producer, and collaborator with other artists. His career has spanned several decades and genres including punk, new wave, and alternative rock. As a part of Talking Heads, Jerry Harrison wrote some of their most popular songs such as “Life During Wartime” and “And She Was”. He also produced several albums for the band including Remain in Light (1980), Speaking in Tongues (1983), and Little Creatures (1985). In addition to his work with Talking Heads, he also released two solo albums: The Red And The Black (1981) and Casual Gods (1988). His collaborations include working with David Bowie on his album Let’s Dance (1983) and producing No Doubt’s album Tragic Kingdom (1995). In 2002, Harrison reunited with his former bandmates to release an album called "The Best Of Talking Heads". They were also inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame that same year. After that brief reunion tour, Jerry continued to pursue his solo career while also collaborating with other artists. He released an album called Walk On Water in 2008 which featured guest appearances from musicians like John Scofield and Bernie Worrell.
