About Fifth Harmony

Fifth Harmony, often shortened to 5H, are an American girl group based in Miami, composed of Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei/Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui, and previously Camila Cabello Fifth Harmony until she departs from the group in December 2016. Selected from solo singers who didn't advance on the second series of The X Factor USA in 2012, these artists joined forces to form a group and make their dreams come true. The group was formed in 2012 by Simon Cowell on the US version of The X Factor. In January 2013, they signed a joint record deal with Syco Music, owned by Cowell, and Epic Records, L.A. Reid's record label, after finishing in third place on the show. The group has released three studio albums, Reflection (2015), 7/27 (2016), and Fifth Harmony (2017).

5th harmony singles "Worth It", "Work from Home", "All In My Head (Flex)", "That's My Girl" and "He Like That" have all peaked in the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Fifth Harmony's work has earned them several awards and nominations, including a Billboard Music Award, five MTV Video Music Awards, two iHeartRadio Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards, and a People's Choice Award. Their Reflection Tour in 2015 was a huge success! In December 2016, the group announced Cabello's departure. The following month, the group released their first single as a four-piece, "Down", which reached the top 40 on the Hot 100. In March 2018, they released their second single from their self-titled album, "Don't Say You Love Me".

Moving forward! Although Fifth Harmony has disbanded, that doesn't imply that former members Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, and Normani Kordei have faded from public view. After releasing their self-titled album, "Fifth Harmony," Dinah, Ally, Lauren, and Normani announced their indefinite hiatus in March 2018. This marked the end of their journey together as a group. This 2023, they reflected on their remarkable journey. They expressed immense gratitude to everyone who joined them on this extraordinary adventure, acknowledging the unforgettable experiences they shared. "After six years of relentless dedication, we have realized that, to remain true to ourselves and to honor our fans, we must temporarily go on hiatus from Fifth Harmony. This will allow each of us to embark on individual journeys and pursue our own artistic endeavors."
