They gained attention after appearing on BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac's "Hottest Record" show. They released their third mixtape Junk Food which reached No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart a day after its release. Their debut studio album Life's a Beach was released on 28 May 2021. The group consists of four members: Murray Matravers (vocalist/guitarist), Sam Hewitt (bassist), Oliver Palfreyman (keyboardist), and Ryan Daly (drummer). Matravers and Hewitt met while attending college in Leicester. They began making music together and were later joined by Palfreyman and Daly. In 2018, Easy Life released its second mixtape, Creatures of Habit. The mixtape was well-received by critics and led to the group touring with artists such as J Hus and Mahalia. The group's third mixtape, Junk Food, was released in 2020. The mixtape reached No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart a day after its release.
