Desperado is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1967 by brothers Bob and John Thomas. The band's original lineup also included drummer Michael Zeller and bassist/keyboardist Larry Brown. The band was known for its high-energy live shows and was a popular touring act in the 1970s. They released three studio albums, Desperado (1973), Keep On Truckin' (1974), and Livin' on the Edge (1976), before breaking up in 1977.
