He began playing the violin at the age of four and by the age of seven he gave his first public performances. Bijan has won numerous international competitions, including 1st prize in the prestigious Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań, Poland. He has performed as a soloist with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Mariinsky Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
