Benjamin's debut studio album, These Words, was released in 2018 and peaked at number 43 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's lead single, "Let Me Down Slowly", reached number 11 on the Adult Top 40 chart and number 36 on the Hot 100. Benjamin has toured with acts such as Chris Martin, John Mayer, and Pink.
