While She Sleeps is a British metalcore band from Sheffield, England. The group consists of vocalist Lawrence Taylor, guitarists Sean Long and Mat Welsh, bassist Aaran McKenzie, and drummer Adam Savage. Formed in 2006, the band has released five studio albums: This Is the Six (2012), Brainwashed (2015), You Are We (2017), So What? (2019), and Sleeps Society (2021). Their music fuses elements of metalcore, post-hardcore and melodic hardcore with influences from classic rock, grindcore, and thrash metal. Since then While She Sleeps has gone from strength to strength releasing two more critically acclaimed albums - You Are We in 2017 and So What? in 2019 - both of which charted in the UK top ten. They've also won numerous awards including Best British Band at both 2018's Kerrang! Awards and 2020's Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards. In 2021 they released their fifth studio album Sleeps Society to widespread critical acclaim. The record features singles such as "Anti-Social" and "Haunt Me".
