Wage War is an American metalcore band formed in Ocala, Florida in 2010 under the name Empires. The band consists of lead vocalist Briton Bond, guitarist Cody Quistad, bassist Seth Blake, and drummer Stephen Kluesener. They released their debut album, "The Last Sleep," in 2012 and have since released four more albums: "Blueprints" (2015), "Deadweight" (2017), "Pressure" (2019), and their most recent release, "Manic" (2021). Throughout their career, Wage War has earned a reputation for its intense live performances and powerful music. Their songs are often characterized by heavy riffs and melodic choruses that draw from both metalcore and post-hardcore influences. Their lyrics explore themes of personal struggle and perseverance in the face of adversity. In addition to their studio albums, Wage War has also released several EPs including "Gravity" (2014) and "The Stripped Sessions" (2020). They have also been featured on various compilations such as Fearless Records' Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6 (2013) and Rise Records' This Is Solid State Vol. 2 (2015).
Wage War has won numerous awards throughout their career including Best Metal/Hardcore Artist at the 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards, Best Breakthrough Band at the 2018 Kerrang! Awards, Album of the Year at the 2019 Loudwire Music Awards for Deadweight, and Best Live Band at the 2020 Rock Sound Awards. In 2023, Wage War will embark on a headlining tour called The Manic Tour with support from Zero 9:36, Within Destruction, and AVOID. In addition to this tour, they have announced a special 10th-anniversary show with ERRA & ZERO 9:36 which will take place in St Louis Missouri.
