Trivium is an American Metalcore band formed in Orland, Florida, in 1999. The Band's members include Matt Heafy (vocals and guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar), and Paul Wandtke (guitar). They are regarded as one of the most successful metal bands of the 2000s. They released their first album Ember to Inferno in 2003. Their following albums Ascendancy (2005) and Shogun (2008) reached number 10 on the US Billboard Top Independent Albums chart and number 17 on UK Albums Chart respectively.
